Letter from the Managing Partner

This year, we focused on business transformation for our clients and our business because we realize our world and the business environment are changing rapidly. We took this as a healthy challenge to learn and grow.

Expanding beyond traditional compliance services and growing specialty practices allowed us to be nimble and serve our clients as new trends emerged in their businesses and the marketplace.

Trust is at the core of business transformation, and trust is driven by strong relationships. That’s why this year, we turned to our brand promise for inspiration: Investing in Relationships to Make a Difference® in our clients, our team and our communities. The investment in our team can be seen in the multiple awards we received this year; Top Firm for Women is one of which I am most proud. Recognizing that community relationships and involvement pave the way for healthy, growing communities, in Atlanta we began a multiyear partnership with the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs.

As I prepared this letter, I realized I could detail overall firm growth, industry line expansion, legislative updates and 10,000+ tax returns prepared in a primarily virtual environment; however, as we report in 2021 and for the first time publicly as a firm, I want to call attention to our team, which is a global community of professionals who have transitioned how they work multiple times over the past two years. In the face of tremendous opportunity, our people have remained curious, entrepreneurial, collaborative and focused on exceeding our clients’ expectations.
